Products/services: In view of global climate change and increasing shortage of resources the safe and efficient energy supply with renewable energies is one of the central challenges of our time. The environmentally friendly and cost-effective supply of renewable energy such as heat, electricity and fuel, its efficient use in buildings, industrial and commercial applications and for mobility as well as its intelligent system integration are related to numerous technological and economic issues. Against this background, the research activities of the InES are organised within the fields Industrial Energy Systems, Building Energy Systems, Technology Transfer & International as well as Energy System Technology. The application-oriented research projects are mainly carried out in cooperation with medium-sized industrial partners as well as with research institutions and partner universities.
