    • The winery Stadt Klingenberg is a 12-hectare-red wine vineyard in the heart or Chur Franconia. Chur Franconia is the red wine region in Franconia and is close to Aschaffenburg. It was founded in 1912 with the acquisition of the old Rentamt. At that time 100 percent of the vineyard was used for Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder). The wines and the landscape are related to the red sandstone in the precipitous, monument-protected terraces. The winery was taken over by Benedikt Baltes in 2010. In order to remind the long tradition, we decided to preserve the name of the winery. By adding the name Benedikt Baltes directly below the brand we indicate that in 2010 a new era has begun for winery Stadt Klingenberg.
