    • The Foundation for Environmental Energy Law (Stiftung Umweltenergierecht) carries out legal analysis and expert opinions in areas such as renewable energies law, energy efficiency law, European as well as international energy and environmental energy law or the law applicable to energy installations and infrastructure (energy grid and storage).

    • The Foundation for Environmental Energy Law is worldwide one of the leading research institution dealing with the legal aspects of the transformation of the energy supply system. It accompanies the development of the so called “Energiewende” (energy transition) with different research projects covering the German, European and International law of renewable energies and energy reduction. It is part of an interdisciplinary and international research network. Knowledge transfer is an important part of its work as well, for example by holding lectures and speeches and taking part in or organizing workshops and meetings.
