Products/services: Our in-house tool-making facility enables us to develop new profiles for special applications in a very short time (also based upon existing samples or drawings). From edge protectors, sealing and glazing profiles we manufacture bonded or vulcanised frames and rings, fixed lengths or mitre cuts to custom, small series included. Standard profiles can be coated with flock, felt, plush or spray varnish. For better insulation properties we inject Butyl or cover profiles with a special EMI film. Core competencies
In close co-operation with the developers of a manufacturer of construction machines our development centre created a new profile geometry for the switch case of a new machine. The goal was to make a sealing which resists high pressure cleaners. The co-extruded profile has on one side an asymmetrical tube which closely seals the gap plus, on the other side, a soft rubber lip which hermetically seals the door frame of the switch case.
We consider it very useful that the manufacturer contacted our development centre at an early stage, which allowed us to find an optimum solution for this individual application. The fact that our tool-making facility is in-house is a great asset for the development of new, innovative solutions.
