    • The Research Institute for Energy Economy (FfE) in Munich was founded in 1949. It is a non-profit organization with members representing all the fields of Energy Technology and Utilization, Industry, Science and Administration as well as private persons. The FfE is a neutral scientific research institute having no preference for any source of competitive energy carrier. The FfE deals with and answers questions of power engineering, energy technology and economic utilization, as well as with issues concerning environmental impacts on a scientific basis.

      This is achieved by:
      - Initiating, supporting and carrying out research projects
      - Working on national and international joint ventures with universities, scientists and research institutes
      - Training of the scientific junior staff in Germany with post-graduated courses
