    • The main goal of the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) is to help scientists of Bavarian Universities and their partners in competing for regional, national and European Research Funding, in particular for funds from the Framework Programme Horizon 2020.
      Furthermore, the BayFOR aims to establish networks and partnerships between Academia and Industry and supports to increase the participation of Bavarian enterprises, especially SME, in European research projects.

      The areas of activities have been grouped into four categories:
      - Provide professional and administrative management support for European research and development projects
      - Management of the Association of Bavarian Research Cooperation and their Worlds of Sciences
      - Intensify and expand international research cooperations between Bavaria and North America (Québec/ Alberta)
      - Contribute to more presence, visibility and influence of the Bavarian Universities on European scale (Brussels Office)
