Bavarian Biotech Cluster
The Bavarian Biotech Cluster is a networking organization linking the biotech locations and start-up centers in Bavaria, including Munich, Regensburg, Erlangen-Nuremberg, and Straubing. Bavaria plays a leading role in all major areas of biotechnology. Among them are pharmaceutical (diagnostics and new therapeutics) biotechnology, the "omics"-technologies, personalized medicine and biomarker research as well as the industrial and environmental applications of this future technology.
By interlinking business and science, the Bavarian Biotech Cluster provides a state-wide network that supports and strengthens the entire process from an original idea to a final product.
The Bavarian Biotech Cluster is managed by BioM, a Munich-based service agency which provides information about the sector and offers help to find the right contacts. On the website www.bio-m.org you can find a company data base, the annual Bavarian Biotech Report with economic data and company profiles, a job market and daily news.
